We will also be placing emphasis on education and staff training as well as spreading the CEDIA ethos. Since becoming members of CEDIA we have begun to understand the strength in being part of this global industry organization. As part of our CEDIA involvement we will be submitting various sites completed in 2010 for the CEDIA international awards in 2011. The most exiting aspect of LifeSize Video Conferencing Solutions is not just the quality of the equipment that they manufacture but rather the manner in which they have implemented high definition formats across their entire stable of products. LifeSize might be new to the market but they are already changing the way we will communicate for years to come. This is great for small and big companies when you think that you only need a minimum of 1MB to achieve a 720p call, and only 2MB when making a 1080p call. What an achievement! Thanks to Panasonic we can now offer our customers the new 85” Panasonic Plasma Display that will be a great new option for video-conferencing applications. We have been extremely successful with the 103” and 65” displays but can now offer the sought after and practical 85” panel. This new 85” is also a lot lighter than the 103”, which makes our installation time faster and safer. Click here for more information.

Installing simple or sophisticated background audio systems is something we do everyday. Designing the system, supplying the kit, installing and programming the system is only half of the process. The content or music library is the other half of the process. Up till now we have offered our clients a simple ripping service whereby we transfer the clients 500 odd CD’s to a digital format such as MP3. This is no problem, however quite often our clients do not have a CD library in SA.

We are now able to offer our clients a selection of Pre-recorded libraries categorized into various genre’s such as Easy Listening, Rock, 80’s Classical, Jazz, Current Contemporary etc. These genre playlists will be supplied on various iPods that will be connected to the audio distribution system. We will offer bronze, silver and gold packages depending on the amount of tracks and amount of genres required which will be payable on a monthly rental basis. With much internal “banter “ and a few personal side bets , we decide to take up the challenge of the Due South Xterra offroad triathlon . Conditions were extremely brutal with tempretures soaring up to 46 degrees .

Competitors and spectators alike were dropping like flies , yet the team from 4ward were all able to complete the event.
